Afghan Women on the Move is delighted to invite you to share in our special event Kitchen Connect - Cooking Stories on Friday 20th October from 5.30pm in Doonside.

Kitchen Connect will feature cooking and storytelling and sharing with new friends at this special cooking event featuring Afghan Women Chefs preparing the food and sharing some cooking secrets!

On June 10th, Afghan Women on the Move and Kateb Hazara Association Inc-Sydney, in collaboration with STARTTS and supported by the Migration Council Australia - MCA, organised a vital health forum to address the COVID-19 virus outbreak, prevention efforts, and mental health post-pandemic for vulnerable community members.

Join us for a special discussion of the issues affecting refugees, help raise awareness in the broader community and together learn how to help heal.

How can we empower women impacted by war?

A thought-provoking panel discussion with AWOTM Founder, Maryam Zahid, Hon Rose Jackson MLC & Dr Keshas Giri.
