Join us for a special screening of My Mother & I: The Untold Stories of Afghan Women, a powerful short documentary sharing the deeply personal stories of Afghan mothers and daughters living in Australia.

Through intimate storytelling, the film explores resilience, intergenerational connection and cultural preservation, bringing to light voices and experiences that are often unheard. Created in partnership with Mercy Works and the inspiring women of Afghan Women on the Move, this project honours stories that deserve to be seen, heard and remembered.

Following the screening, guests will have the opportunity to meet some of the women featured in the documentary and be part of a meaningful community conversation celebrating courage, strength and cultural heritage.
