The Good Woman

Experience the inspiring stories of Maryam Zahid and the women she met in founding Afghan Women on the Move, in this compelling autobiographical performance.

From its origins at Blacktown Arts Centre to a thriving NGO supporting Afghan and multicultural women, Maryam’s journey will move and inspire you.

Through hope and courage, Maryam challenges her deeply held beliefs, daring to ask: “Did you write this story for women, or did our men make it up?”

Following the show there will be an exclusive Q&A with the actors, writers and director.

Duration: 1 hour (35 minutes play, 25 minute Q&A).
