Next Chapter Grant

Afghan women on the Move is pleased to be a successful recipient of Next Chapter Innovation, which forms part of CommBank Next Chapter, and deliver our innovative response to financial abuse recovery.

As a Next Chapter Innovation Partner, over the next 12 months, we will be developing key resources, awareness and trainings on to address the nuanced challenges of domestic violence and financial abuse within the multicultural community by providing language-targeted content and therapeutic art workshops.  In addition to financial support, CommBank is providing us with dedicated executive support and mentoring.

This week, we had the opportunity to meet our mentors and a range of subject matter experts from across the bank at the Next Chapter Innovation Think Tank, which help during the course of the project.   Afghan Women on the Move - supports Afghan and other multicultural women in Australia, helping them build physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially healthy lives.
