AWOTM Thanks Western Sydney Women’s Interfaith Initiative

Afghan Women on the Move (AWOTM) extends its heartfelt thanks to the Western Sydney Women’s Interfaith Initiative (WSWII) for their generosity, leadership, and solidarity with Afghan women and families in Western Sydney. On 28 November 2025, WSWII brought together women from across faith communities to assemble hampers of essential food and hygiene items, generously donated by parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes, Seven Hills, and Good Shepherd, Plumpton.

This collaboration reflects the power of community partnerships grounded in compassion, mutual respect, and shared humanity. AWOTM is deeply grateful to WSWII for their continued support and commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of Afghan women as they rebuild their lives in Australia.
