Sharing Afghan Culture in Canberra

For the past three days we’ve been showcasing Afghan culture, food and fashion at the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra.

Three of our Afghan female clients after arriving in Australia just a few months ago, made their first business attempt and pocketed their first income within two days using their hidden entrepreneurial skills and by believing in themselve by selling Afghan home made sweets and cloths.

Special thanks to our state manager Manizha Rasuli and the enormous support from festival organisers for making this three days event run smoothly and creating a memorable experience for our community.

And thanks also to Hon. Minister Tara Cheyne MLA for your kind message to the Afghan community in Canberra.

Our project in Canberra is supported by The social Policy Group.
